I can’t believe these past few months have gone by so fast. It’s nearly time for the adventure trip and it still hasn’t sunk in yet
. And it’s weird because I already find myself excited for next year’s In Depth, where I’ll know exactly what not to do and where I can improve…
Anyways, here’s my plan for In-Depth night:
What my display will look like: My display will most likely be two poster boards set up on two cafeteria tables with pictures and some paintings that I did. I may have my laptop showing various things but it won’t need to be projected or anything fancy like that.
What I will and may be doing: I will most likely be just standing there talking to people but I also had a cool idea that I could stand there and make paint for people to watch the process (its not THAT messy). I’ll have everything set up so it won’t be a hassle…that is IF I decide to do that. If I do it’ll be only a small part of the night, not throughout the night.
On my board I will have: Pictures of me making paint, a few blerbs about my favorite experiences or my favorite paints to make, and a little bit on the paint made here in British Columbia by the Aboriginals.
On my table I will have: an example of raw pigment, ochre I collected from around here, and recipes I used.
That’s more or less it!
